Best time of day for summer watering of cabernet grapes in Baja California North?

We water three times a week in the late afternoon, but I wonder if it wouldn’t be better to water as early as possible before the heat of the day sets in. either early morning or late evening.

Grapes and taste. Cabs are bold and less sweet. Good w/ steak. Merlots are fruitier and milder. Good w/ pork, chicken & even fish.
